an effort to impress their idol, the girls pursue the boys

own credit card, Barbie.

Parents of girls this goes double
for you, don't let marketing and those who want your money
influence you into turning your child into a little adult, they
are not, they are kids and should dress and behave like kids.
Not like Paris Hilton, Barbie, Britney, Olsen twins, Hillary
Duff and their ilk.
This means more than just having
control over what they buy, it means involvement in what they
watch, listen to and spend their time on.

on a colossal international company such as Mattel Inc.? |

Not by itself no but add it to the ever increasing tide of opinion and
competition rising up against them and the answer is very different.
Sales of Barbie dolls and Mattel's own stock price have fallen markedly
since Anti-Barbie.Com became available on search engines. We don't actually get much pleasure from
this but Mattel Inc does only have itself to blame.
It's attitude
towards loyal Barbie collectors has been simply dreadful, as have the latest dolls.
